Disney’s haunting ‘Maleficent’ looks lush and extravagant, but it’s still considered something of an underdog competing against boundless superheroes and giant monsters and other more… well, let’s face it, male-skewing tent pole flicks.  But Disney isn’t giving up hopes of drumming up interest in this fanciful epic.

First, Disney has released a final trailer for the movie.  Most of the film footage has already been shown, but there is a new animated opening with narration:
