Whatever doubts may have come from watching Roland Emmerich’s disastrous 1998 film ‘Godzilla’, can be banished now! This latest trailer for the reboot shows that this movie is the one King of Kaiju fans have been waiting for!

Bryan Cranston’s voice over in the beginning of the trailer sets the tone perfectly as he says:

“You’re not fooling anybody when you say that what happened was a natural disaster. You’re lying, you’re hiding something out there! It was not an Earthquake, it wasn’t a Typhoon. This is what caused everything in the first place. Don’t you see that?! It is going to send us back to the stone age… You have no idea what’s coming…”

Considering Gareth Edwards has been pretty mum about the specifics of the film, this trailer is the closest we’ve had so far as to what the film’s plot will be. What can be seen, however, is that this is a film that is epic in scope and will briefly delve on the origin of Godzilla.  Must admit, was half expecting Gamera and Rodan to show up in the aerial shots.

While a full figure shot of the monster is yet to be seen, these teasing glimpses from images, posters and teasers is enough to show that this is one film that belongs on the Most Anticipated Films of 2014 list! Is it on yours?
