Earlier this week, we saw a teaser and the first poster for ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’. Now, the first full trailer for Marvel’s first film of 2014 has hit the web and by the looks of things, it might just live up to the claim that it will be the best chapter in the cinematic universe to date.
This morning, Apple released the action-packed, no nonsense trailer for the Sentinel of Liberty’s next feature film. After the Battle of New York in ‘The Avengers’, this new movie catches up with Steve Rogers as he is working as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. alongside Black Widow and his new friend Sam Wilson aka The Falcon. But when he learns of some sketchy motivations of the entity that he works for, he’s propelled into action in the name of truth, justice, and the American way! But on top of all that, a cybernetically enhanced mercenary with connections to Cap’s past is on his tail every step of the way. At this point, I’ve watched this trailer at least five times. Captain America has always been my favorite hero and I feel like after this film hits theaters, he’ll be a lot of other people’s favorites as well. At first, I was a bit skeptical of what Joe and Anthony Russo had in store for this film since they’re more known for their comedy stylings on shows like ‘Community’, but this trailer shows that Marvel definitely put the Star-Spangled Avenger in very capable hands.
