While not as big as Comic-Con, WonderCon is going full force this weekend and studios are taking full advantage of the sister con held in Anaheim, California. One such company is Netflix who unveiled this clip at the con from their new original series ‘Hemlock Grove’.

If you thought watching Josh turn into a werewolf on ‘Being Human’ was eye popping, you haven’t really seen what eye popping is until you watch this clip from ‘Hemlock Grove’.  Here, Roman Godfrey (Bill Skarsgård) watches as a werewolf transformation takes place in front of his very eyes. His declaration after the conversion says it all.

‘Hemlock Grove’ is from horror director/producer Eli Roth and is based on Brian McGreevy’s novel of the same name. The series follows the residents of a Pennsylvania steel town where the murder of 17 year old Brooke Bluebell occurred. Any one (or more) rather peculiar resident of the town could be the perpetrator and during the investigation, the layer of normalcy is removed and we begin to see that the people who live in Hemlock Grove are not really what they seem to be.

The series is intriguing, graphic and chilling – and best of all, you don’t have to wait a week for each episode to stream as Netflix will be releasing all 13 episodes beginning April 19.

If there was a reason needed to subscribe to the online streaming service, ‘Hemlock Grove’ is it. See if you agree as you watch this eye-popping NSFW clip:

‘Hemlock Grove’ stars Famke Janssen, Dougray Scott, Bill Skarsgård, Landon Liboiron, Penelope Mitchell and Freya Tingley and will be available on-demand on Netflix beginning April 19.
