These days, it seems like anyone with a video camera and a computer can make a movie. Oftentimes the results are amateurish, but there are some who seem to show true cinematic talent without having to use thousands of dollars of equipment. Such is the case with a young 22 year old film student named Kaleb Lechowski.

Currently studying animation and digital film design in Germany, Lechowski made this sci-fi short film entitled ‘R’ha.’ What makes ‘R’ha’ so amazing is that the entire film was computer generated. Since Lechowski had no money for actors or live sets, he wrote, directed and used his computer to generate the alien world you see in the short.

It took 7 months to create this intense 6 minute film about a member of an alien race who is being interrogated and tortured by a machine and response has been tremendous! ‘R’ha’ was literally uploaded on YouTube on January 9th and already has an executive in Hollywood taking notice. Lechowski has been invited to tinsel town for a meeting and is expected to arrive later this month.

Things happen quickly in Hollywood and Lechowski definitely has a future in the movie making business, so take note of his name! To see what all the buzz is about, you can check out ‘R’ha’ below and let us know what you think about Lechowski’s sci-fi short!
