This past summer, Marvel’s ‘The Avengers‘ blew audiences away with what was easily the biggest and arguably the best comic book movie adaptation to date! All of the big name heroes of the Marvel Universe (well, most of them) all starring in one film together to face a threat too big for any of them to handle on their own? The film has been on available on Bluray and DVD for a few months now, but the behind the scenes sneak peaks just don’t seem to be stopping!
This past summer the team at SuperHeroHype had the chance to stop Industrial Light & Magic studios in San Francisco, CA to get a behind the scenes look with a few of the artists that brought ‘The Avengers’ to life on the big screen! Recently, ILM has released the footage that was recorded, giving a close look at the development of some of the awesome special effects elements that went into the film’s extraordinary grand finale! See a behind the scenes look at Iron Man’s suit of armor, the Incredible Hulk and the digital model of New York City that was used in the film’s final sequence!
