The first trailer for the Brad Pitt film ‘World War Z’ has been released and it is as jaw dropping as one could imagine!
The video introduces us to Pitt’s character, Gerry Lane, as he and his family are off for a vacation when the zombie apocalypse begins. What starts off as a routine trip soon becomes a global pandemic of billions of dying people who are quickly becoming dangerous hordes of flesh eaters.
“They are like predatory animals that can’t control themselves,” says visual effects supervisor John Nelson (“Iron Man”) about the zombies in his film. While the trailer mainly shows masses of the undead from a long shot, I do wish they would have added a couple close ups of what they actually look like.
Does the film give you that Jason Bourne meets ‘The Walking Dead’ vibe director Marc Forster was aiming for? Take a look at the trailer and let us know! One thing is for certain: this will be one action packed epic of a ride.
Synopsis:
The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.
