What’s that? I’m reporting on Chris Hemsworth and he’s not wielding a hammer alongside Captain America? Weird, I know, but it’s okay though. He still has an ax and a team behind him. Although I’m not sure a team of dwarfs can measure up to Iron Man or The Hulk.

To promote his upcoming fairytale adaptation, Hemsworth took to the official YouTube channel of ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ to tease a new trailer that will debut on Monday, March 19th, during a new episode of NBC’s ‘The Voice’. After his announcement, we are given a first look snippet of the trailer, which shows off a few brief glimpses of Hemsworth, Kristen Stewart, and Charlize Theron in action.

‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ is one of many fairytale retellings that has made its way onto our screens as of late, and is the second of two Snow White projects to hit theaters this year. Compared to the light-hearted ‘Mirror Mirror’ starring Julia Roberts and Armie Hammer, ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ takes a more dramatic approach to the classic fairytale from the Brothers Grimm and ups the action element quite a bit.

In director Rupert Sanders’ twist on the Snow White story, the Huntsman (Hemsworth) ordered to kill Snow White (Stewart) for the evil Queen Ravenna (Theron) becomes the girl’s protector and mentor as they prepare for a rebellion to bring down the tyrannical queen once and for all. The film is slated for release on June 1, 2012.

For the full trailer, be sure to tune in to ‘The Voice’ on Monday. Or, as I’m sure you’re more likely to do, check it out once it hits the internet next week. Until then, here’s the preview of the new trailer for the movie.
