The last time we saw Anne Hathaway was in Pittsburgh as she maneuvered her way on the Batpod. Now we see her again but this time as Catwoman’s alter-ego, Selina Kyle, and she’s showing off some major skills!

Filming of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ continues on the streets of Los Angeles and we have photos of a scene that was filmed yesterday involving Hathway, a stuntman, and a kid. Onlookers state that the scene has thugs chasing the kid up a stairway. They corner the child and steal his apple. Meanwhile, Selina Kyle comes from behind, takes out the bad guys and is able to retrieve the apple. Once the baddies are taken care of, she takes a bite of the apple, says something to the kid and tosses it back to him who then promptly runs off. Here’s a few of the photos from that take:

After this scene was filmed, onlookers says that another scene was filmed where Selina walks away from the thugs, who are now tied up on the floor, and walking towards her is Bruce Wayne. They stop and talk for a few minutes. Hm…will this be a first meeting of sorts?

In other news, remember the tunnel photos of the car pile that were posted yesterday at the tunnel? Some are speculating it may be for a flood scene while others are thinking it will be part of an explosion scenario. Here are more photos and a video from the tunnel destruction:

Although it was thought that information about ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ would be scarce once it moved production to Los Angeles, it looks like we’ll still be able to see some great shots leaked out! Oh! And if you happen to be around LA and see those yellow signs that say “Magnus Rex”, that means the movie is filming nearby.

‘The Dark Knight Rises’ stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake, and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate and ascends into theaters on July 20, 2012.
