Last week we celebrated New York Comic Con 2018, the largest annual pop culture media event on the East Coast of the United States! As always with major comic conventions, the team at Hasbro was ready with some major new reveals for figures they have coming down the pipeline soon for two of their biggest licenses, ‘Marvel’ and ‘Star Wars’!
For their popular 6″ scale ‘Marvel Legends’ line, they revealed several new single release figures, new figure 2-Packs, new deluxe figures with vehicles, and even a new Build-A-Figure! New single releases include the two remaining members of The Black Order from this year’s blockbuster hit ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, Ebony Maw and Corvus Glaive, plus new figures of the Asgardian Beta Ray Bill, ‘New Warrior’ Night Thrasher, and The X-Men’s Forge!

There will also be new 2-Packs featuring Kraven with Black-Suit Spider-Man, plus Supreme Leader and Arnim Zola! If you buy into a full new X-Men themed wave (figures to be revealed, although it’s probably a safe bet that Forge will be among them), you will be able to build your very own Caliban figure!

Finally, for vehicle sets we have Professor X in his Hoverchair, and an all new Deadpool with his Scooter! Professor X includes his hoverchair and a Cerebro helmet, plus an alternative Build-A-Figure part that allows you to turn your upcoming Kingpin Build-A-Figure into The Shadow King instead! Deadpool comes packaged with Dogpool and Squirrelpool, and what appears to be an alternative smiling Hydra head that will allow you to turn one of the previously released Hydra Trooper figures into Deadpool’s loveable sidekick Bob!

As we mentioned earlier, Hasbro also had a number of new items in their ‘Star Wars’ lines, so if ‘Marvel’ isn’t your thing then you don’t have to worry! Both the ‘Star Wars’ 6″ scale ‘Black Series’ and the 3.75″ scale ‘Vintage Collection’ from Hasbro will be seeing new figures soon!
In the 6″ scale ‘Star Wars: Black Series’ we have a few all new figures including fan favorite comic character Dr. Aphra and her two villainous droid sidekicks 000 and BT-1! There will also be some ‘Clone Wars’ era figures with our first ever 6″ scale General Grevious and Clone-Armor Obi wan Kenobi! Finally, we are getting a new version of the ‘Stormtrooper Disguise’ Luke Skywalker, which appears to have a new headsculpt.
