Those lucky enough to see the first two episodes of ‘Ash vs Evil Dead‘ are giving it glowing reviews and if you’ve been dying to see it, there will be a sneak peak coming up after an ‘Evil Dead’ movie marathon! To celebrate the launch of ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ and Halloween, Starz is bringing us the original trilogy in marathon format hosted by none other than Bruce Campbell himself. It all kicks off on Friday, October 30th at 8pm ET/PT and while this sneak preview won’t be that much earlier than the actual series launch, it will have die hard fans staying up to check it out.
The full break down of the schedule has the original 1981 release of ‘The Evil Dead’ kicking things off at 8pm on Starz. At 9:30pm we’ll see Bruce returning in the 1987 release of ‘Evil Dead 2’ and finally the marathon will come to a close at 10:55pm with ‘Army of Darkness’ which many consider to be the crown jewel in the trilogy. The most recent iteration of ‘Evil Dead‘ will not be included here as ‘Army of Darkness’ finished up as that will be when the sneak preview will begin!
For those of you who can’t make the marathon but want to check out the movies, ‘The Evil Dead’ is already on Starz’ On Demand we’ll see ‘Evil Dead 2’ added on October 26th through the 30th and ‘Army of Darkness’ on November 1st. The first episode of ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ will also show up on October 31st at 12:00am.
