In what is shaping up to be the film on the top of my “must see” list (aside from Marvel movies of course), the upcoming ‘Godzilla‘ film just keeps looking better and better. Each trailer has gotten me more excited. The latest trailer and TV spot both look great and give us some hints at the origin of the giant monster as well as gives us a closeup on Godzilla’s face! Even without that we get a great look at the action and the destruction that we have to look forward to!
First up is the latest TV spot! Both trailers include the close up on his face as mentioned above and this one is a good lead into the extended trailer.
Second up, the one you really want to watch! Here’s the new extended trailer for the movie followed by the film’s synopsis! This trailer finally makes me feel the human side of where the plot may be heading.
An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.
The longer trailer finally gives us a bit of how Bryan Cranston’s (‘Breaking Bad’, ‘Argo’) portrayal of Joe Brody becomes involved in this whole mess. It also shows why he has a personal stake in it and also starts to explain why he thinks the government is lying as been mentioned in the trailers to date. Both of these are things that I’ve been wondering since the first preview that included him and now we finally have an idea.
