It’s still a year away and it feels like they just started filming it, but a trailer has already been released for Christopher Nolan’s first post Batman movie, a science fiction space epic called ‘Interstellar’ starring Matthew McConaughey. Here is the official description:
A group of explorers make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.
The movie will hit theaters on November 7, 2014 and will also star Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, John Lithgow, Casey Affleck, David Gyasi, Wes Bentley, Mackenzie Foy, Timothée Chalamet, Topher Grace, David Oyelowo Ellen Burstyn, Michael Caine and Matt Damon.
As you can see, some Nolan regulars are reappearing, like Michael Caine and Anne Hathaway.
Nolan’s ‘Inception’ was sci-fi, but a full-blown space adventure? That’s something new for the usually gritty, realistic director. At any rate, he’s got an exceptional track record, so this should measure up as well. Check out the trailer, narrated by McConaughey below:
What do you think? Are you looking forward to a Nolan-directed space movie?
