After bulking up the cast over the past month with Will Yun Lee, Tao Okamoto, Brian Tee, and more, plus potentially Svetlana Khodchenkova as Viper, it seems that director James Mangold, Hugh Jackman, and company are ready to get the ball rolling on production for ‘The Wolverine’. In anticipation for the beginning of shooting in Australia next month, a press conference was held where photographers were able to take photos of some concept art, set pieces, and props.

After shooting in Australia next month, the crew will head over Japan for some on location shooting. Based on the legendary Japan-centric mini-series by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller and starring Hugh Jackman reprising his role as everyone’s favorite Canadian mutant, ‘The Wolverine’ is scheduled for release on July 26, 2013.
