Detective Pikachu

If you love Ryan Reynolds specific brand of humor, it should come as no surprise that we’d be seeing a fart joke show up for ‘Detective Pikachu‘. The latest teaser for this Pokemon trailer showcases Reynolds style pretty perfectly! While most of this trailer is just a rehash of scenes which we’ve already seen, there are some new ones including the great Detective Pikachu sharing some potty humor.

Outside of Pikachu, we also get Mr. Mime dancing and a new shot of Snubbull, so there were some new shots from the film for everyone who just has to see it all before it hits theaters.

The story begins when ace detective Harry Goodman goes mysteriously missing, prompting his 21-year-old son Tim to find out what happened. Finding that they are uniquely equipped to communicate with one another, Tim and Pikachu join forces on a thrilling adventure to unravel the tangled mystery. Chasing clues together through the neon-lit streets of Ryme City—a sprawling, modern metropolis where humans and Pokémon live side by side in a hyper-realistic live-action world—they encounter a diverse cast of Pokémon characters and uncover a shocking plot that could destroy this peaceful co-existence and threaten the whole Pokémon universe.

‘Detective Pikachu’ will be sleuthing his way into your local theater on May 10th, 2019! The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Justice Smith, Paul Kitson, Kathryn Newton, Ken Watanabe, Karan Soni, Bill Nighy, Suki Waterhouse, Chris Geere, Rita Ora, and Omar Chaparro.
