Ralph Breaks The Internet

‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’ had more than its fair share of memorable moments. One of the best was when Princess Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) effectively took her throne as an official Disney Princess with a big, magical musical number. Iconic Disney composer Alan Menken penned an appropriately off-color but sweet power ballad for the little racer, and she gives it her all! Now, fans can watch the entire ‘Place Called Slaughter Race’ sequence online anytime they want!

‘A Place Called Slaughter Race’ grabbed a Best Original Song nomination for the Oscars. ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’ was given a Golden Globes nomination for Best Motion Picture – Animated.

Vanellope’s musical number happens in the middle of the movie, while the character is trying to decide whether she should start over with her new friends in the game ‘Slaughter Race,’ or return to the arcade with Ralph and stay with her predictable game, ‘Sugar Rush.’ Menken, who penned the song, is best known for his work on ‘Little Shop of Horrors’, ‘The Little Mermaid,’ ‘Aladdin,’ and ‘Beauty and the Beast.’ The song was recorded with Silverman singing live with a 70-plus-piece orchestra.

Video game bad guy Ralph and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz must risk it all by traveling to the World Wide Web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, ‘Sugar Rush.’ In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet — the netizens — to help navigate their way, including an entrepreneur named Yesss, who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site BuzzzTube.
