Paul Bettany, better known to the world as Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has just shared a behind-the-scenes image which could have spoiled a major ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘ plot point! The best part about the photo isn’t actually the spoiler either but that he is standing next to someone Ryan who had to wear a hotdog suit of shame for being late to work. Now, even if you’re a purist it is going to be hard not to scroll down and check out the potential spoiler to see that shot.
Before we get there though, when talking about ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ previously, Bettany stated that:
“It felt like the biggest movie that I’ve ever made and will ever make, and we’ve still got to make the [next] one.It’s f**king crazy! I would come in, often at dawn because of the length of my makeup, and there would just be all of these twinkling lights. It looked like a town, but it wasn’t. It was where all of the trailers were. It was just massive. It’s massive! The call sheets are bananas. When you see the list of cast members, you’re like, ‘How is anybody else making a film in Hollywood this year? How are they getting films financed? Everybody is in this!'”
Everyone in Hollywood, and some hotdog suits as well!

Okay, now that you’re still with us we’ve got Bettany’s Instagram post to share with you that hints at something potentially huge:
It should be noted at this time that ‘Avengers 4‘ is filming. If this isn’t a flashback scene, of which there are many rumored to appear, that means that not only is Vision alive but those visual effects dots are also located where he usually has the mind Stone. That could mean that the preview which we’ve seen that shows it trying to be ripped from his head was either an unsuccessful attempt or that he was able to get it back by the film’s end.
My money is actually on this being a flashback scene as I don’t think Thanos will be totally defeated by the end of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and suspect that he will be still wielding the gauntlet when the credits and multiple cut scenes roll.
