Doritos-Guardians-of-the-Galaxy-vol-2-collab-2017-billboard-1548

Doritos is no stranger to using Marvel Studios artwork on their packaging so it should come as no surprise that they have quite an entertaining new promotion to coincide with the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2‘ release. This time we aren’t just getting a bag with artwork from the film but a limited edition one that will play the entire soundtrack for the movie! Yes, folks, a bag of Doritos that can serenade you with the sweet sounds of the ‘Awesome Mix Vol. 2’ as you chomp down on the bestselling corn chips that money can buy.

The chips are set to go on sale through Amazon and will come with a special headphone jack as well as a charger so that you can listen to the bag multiple times. You’ll likely run out of chips before you stop listening to the soundtrack.

This player is quite the bizarre movie tie-in and will either sit around collecting dust or, more likely, sell out as a limited edition collector’s item.

While not available yet, they will be up on Amazon on April 28th, 2017 and you’ll be able to find them at: Amazon.com/Doritos. There is no word as to if multiple flavors will be offered, but we can see that at least the classic Nacho Cheese will be for sale from the provided image.

Who plans on buying one of these limited edition ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ Awesome Mix Vol. 2 bags? Are you going to pick up 2 to keep one unopened for posterity? Share your thoughts below on this absurd product tie-in True Believers!

‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2′ starring Chris Pratt, Zoë Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn, Pom Klementieff, Kurt Russell, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, and Glenn Close takes off on May 5, 2017.
