Hera-Syndulla-Star-Wars-Rebels-Season-4-Trailer

As ‘Star Wars Rebels‘ has rapidly been approaching the events in ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,’ we’ve known that it was only a matter of time before the show would be coming to an end and we’ve got the trailer for the fourth and final season. The news that this would be the final season of ‘Star Wars Rebels’ broke from Lucasfilm Animation during the Star Wars Celebration event. Dave Filoni shared this trailer to end things on a high note, and for anyone who has been watching the show, there is plenty of reason to be excited here.

Before the trailer, though Filoni said that:

“I really appreciate that love from you guys. I think I can make this story as meaningful as can be. I know what it’s like when I don’t get to end a series.”

You can check out the fourth season trailer which is narrated by Hera below!

It starts up as a bit of a recap of what we’ve seen so far. We didn’t get any hints as to where in the ‘Star Wars’ timeline that this would end but chances are we’ll see this running close to ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.’ Either that, or we may get an epilogue that includes that as well as Clone Trooper Rex lasting until at least ‘Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.’ While we haven’t been given official confirmation of that, the finale might give us a way to show where some of the major players on the show end up.

It has always been a big question as to Ezra and Kanan being in the service of the Rebel Alliance at the same time as Luke Skywalker and not having any contact, so it feels like we’ll either see them going off on their own or have their lives cut short by the season’s end.

Are you looking forward to ‘Star Wars Rebels?’ Are you happy to hear that we’ll be getting a proper closure to the series? Share your thoughts below!
