It ends where it all began. Alice (Milla Jovovich) is back for the sixth and final film in the ‘Resident Evil’ series, subtitled ‘The Final Chapter’. This franchise has already generated over $900 million, making it the most successful film series based on a video game.
Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, Alice (Milla Jovovich) is the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead. Now, she must return to where the nightmare began – The Hive in Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse.
In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between losing her superhuman abilities and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.
Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson (who has directed every movie in the franchise), ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’ also stars Ruby Rose, Ali Larter (Claire Redfield, ‘Resident Evil: Afterlife’), Iain Glen (Dr. A;exander Isaacs, ‘Resident Evil: Extinction’), William Levy, Shawn Roberts (Albert Wesker, ‘Resident Evil: Afterlife’), Rola, Eoin Macken, Joon-Gi Lee, and Ever Anderson.
