assassins-creed

Today Fox has shared the second ‘Assassin’s Creed‘ trailer and I have to tell you that this one is leaps and bounds better than the first one which was released. I’m not sure if it is the lack of an annoying soundtrack, the fact that they actually go into detail about Michael Fassbender’s Callum Lynch or all of the action that they were also able to fit in but this trailer has me back to being excited for the film to be released. Unlike the first one, you really get a feel for the position Lynch is in here and what he is going through and I suspect that what he learns from reliving his ancestor’s memories will also be what allows him to escape from being held at the end of the first film if this ends up being a franchise.

You can check out the trailer below!

As you can see, they’ve really done a better job at pacing for both being able to explain the plot, show off the action, and give you a proper sense of why we’re seeing two different time periods in the film.

Are you looking forward to ‘Assassin’s Creed’? What do you think about this trailer compared to the last one? Share your thoughts below!

Synopsis:

Assassin’s Creed follows a character by the name of Callum Lynch who, through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, is able to experience the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Knights Templar organization in the present day.

‘Assassin’s Creed’ will be sneaking into theaters just in time for Christmas on December 21st, 2016.
