Let’s Take A Look At Kylo Ren’s Lightsaber

There are endless things about ‘Star Wars: the Force Awakens’ that we’re excited about, one of them being Kylo Ren’s crossguard lightsaber. How are the crossguard blades powered? Are his knuckles perpetually scorched? A few answers may have been revealed on a recent Reddit post that included a picture from a display at Disneyland.

Adam Driver plays Kylo Ren, a warrior who is a huge fan of Darth Vader and is part of the First Order, a group inspired by Sith ideology. In the description of his lightsaber, there seems to be historical relevance. Take a look:

So, yes, this lightsaber is an ancient design with all three blades powered from one source.

So I guess this adds to what we already know about Kylo Ren—he’s a huge history buff.
