For those of you who are eagerly awaiting the release of ‘Ash vs Evil Dead‘ this Halloween you’ll be happy to hear that we’ve got the first four minutes of the series to share with you. Anyone who has been worried that the show might not deliver in the way that ‘Army of Darkness’ ended the tales of Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams need worry no more! We’re not only given the perfect introduction to the character but a great way to reminisce on our aging hero being not only a fighter but a lover as well.
From S-Mart employee to hero to getting a little action in a dive bar bathroom it really feels like Ash hasn’t missed a beat. Unfortunately for Ash (though fortunately for us!) this hot and heavy scene is quickly interrupted as his one night stand quickly turns into a Deadite attack! I’ll let you watch how it plays out yourself below:
Honestly it almost feels as if he’s never left. Aside from being in even worse shape than before of course. We’ve got a bit of a naughty side, we’ve got the one liners, we’ve got action, we’ve got Ash once again in a horrible situation. I think the first four minutes truly incorporates almost every aspect of Ash in a quick bite sized nugget and I can’t wait to see how the rest of the series plays out.

Synopsis:
Campbell reprises his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario, and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal. The cast is led by Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, “Burn Notice”) in the role of Ash Williams, Lucy Lawless (“Salem,” “Spartacus,” “Xena”) as Ruby, a mysterious figure who believes Ash is the cause of the Evil outbreaks, Ray Santiago (“Touch,” Meet the Fockers) as Pablo Simon Bolivar, an idealistic immigrant who becomes Ash’s loyal sidekick, Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas) as Kelly Maxwell, a moody wild child trying to outrun her past, and Jill Marie Jones (“Sleepy Hollow”) as Amanda Fisher, a disgraced Michigan State Trooper set to find our anti-hero Ash and prove his responsibility in the grisly murder of her partner.
