It is quite clear that ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘ is going to be quite an Inhuman filled season and now we’re finally getting a good look at Lash who they’ve only teased so far. We saw the beast attack both Daisy and Lincoln when attempting to track down the latter of the two and when he resurfaces in tonight’s episode we’ll be able to finally see what he looks like. Matthew Willig who is playing the character has gone through quite a metamorphosis of makeup to get the look down and he clearly is going to be one villains we’ll want to be seeing more of on the small screen.

ABC and Marvel have described his character as “a monstrous Inhuman whose loyalties remain ambiguous.” As we haven’t even been introduced to the Inhuman Royal Family at this point I have a feeling they are going to be taking a new twist on him as the season evolves and we “fine out over time” what he is up to as Executive Producer Jeffrey Bell has hinted at.

Monstrous is a good description as you can see below:

His sect of Inhumans come from a line who oppose the Royal Family and believe that only certain Inhumans should go through the Terrigenesis process. In the comics Lash hunted down those who were turned and if they were deemed unworthy took their lives. I feel that with the similar take on this process covering the globe that we’ll see the storyline play out in much the same way.

Are you looking forward to seeing the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. go up against Lash? Do you think Daisy will be enough on her own to defeat him or will they have to round up some more Inhuman help? Share your thoughts below True Believers!

Tonight’s episode is described as follows:

Having reluctantly agreed to share information with Rosalind and the ATCU, Coulson and the team go in search for the Inhuman who is killing off other Inhumans, and May feels that Hunter’s mission to take down Ward is getting too personal, on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Tuesday, October 20th on ABC.
