As Marvel Studios and Netflix prepare for the release of ‘Jessica Jones’ later this year, they’re not wasting any time on the series following it, which happens to be the another installment of ‘Daredevil.’ Roughly three months after the first season premiered on the popular streaming service, the second season of the Man Without Fear’s acclaimed show is already in production on the streets of New York City. And thanks to a local shutterbug, we can see our favorite Avocados At Law back together again before the season debuts in 2016.
Previously, it was rumored that shooting for the second season of ‘Daredevil’ would start sometime this month, but it looks as if production has started a bit earlier than anticipated. And in a lucky case of being in the right place at the right time, photographer Shelly Kay captured a few excellent snapshots of stars Charlie Cox and Elden Henson as they reprise their roles as Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson on the streets of East Harlem. Alongside Cox and Henson, Rosario Dawson and Deborah Ann Woll are also expected to return to the second series to reprise their respective roles as Claire Temple and Karen Page. There’s no word on Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk or on the casting of Bullseye and Elektra, but Daredevil is sure to have his hands full with Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle AKA the violent vigilante known as the Punisher, who is said to be going head to head with the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen a good bit.
