The ‘Convergence‘ event is coming to DC’s Universe in June and with it will mark some drastic changes to their current comic lineup. The current New 52 is going to have 25 high profile titles continue on with 24 being axed and replaced with new ones on June 3rd. The goal? Giving us story over continuity.

According to DC Comics Co-Publisher Dan DiDio the fallout from the Convergence Event will “allow us to publish something for everyone, be more expansive and modern in our approach and tell stories that better reflect the society around us. Whether you’ve been a DC fan your whole life, or whether you are new to comics — there will be a book for you beginning in June.”

Not surprising this comes pretty soon after Marvel has decided to nuts by destroying all of the known Marvel Universes in ‘Secret Wars’ and starting from scratch. Of course, one could argue that DC has been doing this for years and Marvel is only now following in their footsteps.
