As the banner above shows, ‘The Leftovers‘ are still here, and at the very least they will still be here for a second season according to HBO! While the network has a pretty strong track record of making shows that will run through to the end, there is always a concern that they may end up like ‘Deadwood’ and not go through to completion. Thankfully this series, based on the novel by the same name and written by Tom Perrota, is not going to be a one season wonder. If you were on the fence whether to see if there would be a second season before starting in on the show, it’s time to start watching!

What that probably means is that at the very least, we won’t have a clue as to what is going on by the end of the first season. Of course, any show that is written and produced by Damon Lindelof is going to have people wondering where it will be going as ‘Lost‘ was clearly a show that kept you guessing. As the series so far has had a compelling overall story line, as well as single point of view story arcs, I’m pretty sure most of the viewers are as enthralled as I am in wanting to know how it is all going to come together. Also, we’ll hopefully see that Lindelof has learned what fans do and don’t want in a series like this when it comes to its finale.

Have you been watching HBO’s ‘The Leftovers’? If so what do you think of the show so far and are you glad to hear that there will be more of it?
