We’ve known for some time that a spin-off of ‘The Conjuring‘ was going to be released called ‘Annabelle‘ which was to focus on the creepy doll from the film and now we have a teaser trailer to share with you! Recently we had found out the release date was going to be October 3rd of this year. Clearly they are a little further into production than the studio has been letting on!
If you thought that ‘The Conjuring’ was as awesome as I did, you are probably going to jump on the chance to see this film. It’ll be the only thing by the creators until ‘The Conjuring 2’ is released on October 23rd, 2015.
The movie will be directed by John R. Leonetti and written by Gary Dauberman. James Wan and Peter Safran are producing. Annabelle Wallis, Ward Horton, and Alfre Woodard are set to star in the film. There is no word if the investigators will be making a cameo at the introduction or close of the movie.
Pro-tip: Watch the teaser with the lights on!
So there you have it. A teaser that hints the film will be as dark as ‘The Conjuring’. If I were to have any complaint it is that the doll is a little too freaky. What do I mean by that? Well, would you realistically buy a doll like this and have it in your house? Do the main characters seem like the type to? I feel that is a bit of a stretch but I’m sure it’s one that I could get over.
