It doesn’t matter if ‘Godzilla‘ is fighting monsters or playing with the actual US Navy, sometimes he just wants to get his giant monster feet wet. Of course, by getting his feet wet I mean going for an actual swim and that’s what he is doing in the latest clip from the upcoming ‘Godzilla’ movie. I don’t know about you, but I am completely excited that it is only a couple of weeks away from gracing us on the big screen in all of its glory!!

Of course, while he is taking his swim we actually see Godzilla come up and try to play with the ships that are in his way. He’s such a playful guy! Though I’m not sure how happy he is when the United States Navy starts to play back:

Short but sweet and not much of Godzilla is shown aside from his back and tail. What is shown, though, is just another example of how clearly immense the monster is. Speaking of immense, if I had to complain at all it would be that in the scene Godzilla is pushing ships out of his way with his body. It’s not because he’s fat as some of the haters out there might imply, but actually due to the fact that he is such a giant monster that he is a self propelled national disaster! He can’t help it that he’s big boned! Guys quit picking on Godzilla or you’ll make him angry! You won’t like him when he’s angry. Oh wait, wrong giant green monster.

Are you excited to see ‘Godzilla’ on its release weekend? How comfortable would you feel if you were a driver stuck on that bridge while the Navy and Godzilla played with one another? A better question might be would you rather be on the bridge or one of the ships in this specific situation? Share your thoughts below!

‘Godzilla’ starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn, Bryan Cranston, and Sally Hawkins hits theaters on May 16, 2014 in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D.
