While I did say that there is a new banner in the title you may recognize it and that is because we’ve seen a version of it in previous ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ posts that just included less characters. This time we have a couple versions of Beast added to it as well as young Magneto is now sporting a helmet and the title of the film was put in front and center.

Above we have first up a shot of Storm and Beast, a shot of the young and old Magneto, a Wolverine and Mystique shot, a few members with a focus on Wolverine and Mystique, a shot of Storm and a young Professor X who is looking to wipe out her brains for helping screw him over in the script of ‘X3’, another shot of Wolverine and Mystique (the two most overused characters in the cinematic X-Men franchise), Wolverine looking like he is again being blown apart by the Phoenix (spoiler?), a full front and center shot of Wolverine over a logo for the film, and finally another shot of the two Magnetos.

While highly stylized, most of these don’t really stand out aside from the potential Wolverine being torn apart one. While there are quite a bit of explanations for it, some of the last 2 films inconsistencies are supposed to be retconned with this movie and I’m wondering if this will be changing what happened to Jean in the ‘X3’. Will this be the open to bring her and Scott back in one of the next two? Sadly it is too open to interpretation but I’m dying to find out what it could mean.

What do you think of the new posters? Does anything else grab your attention or is this just more marketing material for a movie most of us will go see anyway? Share your thoughts below!
