Good news for all you die-hard fans of  ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ out there. No, there’s nothing new in the works, but a former crew member from the show has provided the internet with a blast from the past in the form of a never-before-seen 31-minute long behind the scenes video from Season 2.

Stunt Coordinator Jeff Pruitt posted the over half-hour long video on his YouTube channel earlier this week featuring footage of stunts, makeup, main cast members like Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Boreanaz, and Seth Green, and the then up-and-coming young director Joss Whedon doing his thing as he put together a scene from the season finale, ‘Becoming: Part 2’. You can see the whole thing below in all it’s 90s home video glory:

In case you were wondering what the context was behind this extensive look at one of the most popular shows of all time, here’s how Pruitt describes it in the video description:

“During season 2 we were trying to promote the show so I had various crew and cast members talk to the camera directly to the fans. This was a time before anyone was a star and nobody was the god of his own universe yet. There was no infighting or jealousy among crew members. Everybody supported each other’s work. The thing that strikes me most looking back at this (aside from how young we all are) is how innocent it was then; a much different atmosphere than in later high pressure years of the show.”

After watching that, how much do you miss ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’? It’s okay. There are others who feel your pain. But in an effort to alleviate that pain, maybe you can try letting it all out in the comment section so that you and your fellow fans can get through it together.
