WARNING! SPOILERS AHEAD!

Tomorrow, a new trailer for the upcoming season of ‘Doctor Who’ will debut but in the meantime, BBC has released a new image that will have Whovians burning up the social media talking about it.

The image could be considered spoilery and quite sad too as it references the fact that the ginger haired Amy will no longer be travelling with the Doctor. We have a scarred and bleeding Doctor surrounded by Daleks as they explode around him. In his arms?… Let’s just say Moffat doesn’t seem like he was exaggerating when he said that each episode will seem like a mini movie. This season may truly be the last time we’ll hear the Doctor say “Come along, Pond!”

Here is the official tease from BBC America:

The new season will see the last days of the Ponds, with Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill making their final roller coaster voyage with The Doctor (Matt Smith). Amy (Karen Gillan) and Rory (Arthur Darvill) have been at the Doctor’s side for more than two seasons but what will he do after their heartbreaking departure?

New guest stars so far confirmed include David Bradley, Rupert Graves and Mark Williams.  Season 7 will then see a dramatic turn of events when The Doctor meets a new friend – the recently-announced new companion, played by Jenna-Louse Coleman. Prepare yourselves for thrills, adventures and dramatic surprises as the show builds towards its enormous, climactic 50th anniversary year.

Fourteen big, blockbuster-movie episodes – each a brand new epic adventure featuring new monsters and some familiar foes as you’ve never seen them before.

Take a look at it below and stay tuned to ScienceFiction.com as we’ll also have the new trailer up for you tomorrow!
