The newest ‘Prometheus’ video being released is thankfully not from the movie but is another installment in the viral campaign involving Weyland Industries.
In ‘Quiet Eye,’ Dr. Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) is seen in a video message requesting the company to help her get to the location where the “answers of what we really want” can be found. Interestingly, during the message, Weyland Industries is seen scanning her image and providing voice analysis trying to determine… what? And if you look carefully, you’ll see the name Yutani in the software used to analyze her face (as in Weyland-Yutani, the company that sent the Nostradamus into space).
Written by Damon Lindelof and directed by Ridley Scott, this viral video is a great little prequel snippet for the movie! So feel free to watch this knowing that it won’t spoil the movie but does add to the ‘Prometheus’ storyline.
