Don’t you hate it that you have to wait a whole week, or sometimes even months, for a new episode of your favorite TV show? Well I have good news for ‘Game of Thrones’ fans. Starting on May 15th, the adoring public of HBO’s medieval fantasy series can enter the world of the show via their Xbox 360, PS3, and PC thanks to the brand new RPG from French studio Cyanide.
Based on the world of the popular TV show and the internationally bestselling ‘Song of Ice and Fire’ book series by George R.R. Martin, ‘Game of Thrones’ reveals a new chapter of the story, which was overseen by the author himself. A player can travel through familiar places and meet familiar faces while acting as two former soldiers of Robert’s Rebellion that have since gone in different directions. Despite their separate paths, they must come together to face common enemies and foil the plot that threatens the kingdom.
To ensure that you can get your hands on a copy, the game is available for pre-order at Amazon.com. The pre-order also comes with a limited edition hardbound art book called ‘Game of Thrones: Visuals from the RPG’.
