If you live in New York or New Jersey and thought you saw 3 people flying in the air, you are not insane! It’s all part of a marketing campaign for the movie ‘Chronicle‘!
The opening for the film is only a few days away but their PR department has obviously been working overtime. It’s no secret that the movie is gaining a lot of buzz via social media, and now thanks to the guys at ThinkModo, they’ve developed an ingenious way to market the movie!
Over the weekend, the ThinkModo team decided to recreate part of the film:
“Since the three main characters of the movie have the ability to fly, we came up with the idea of staging a few “flying people” sightings around NYC. We achieved that illusion by having 3 custom-made aircraft (which were shaped like human beings) fly above designated areas in NYC and NJ.” – Michael Krivicka

Synopsis:
Three high school students and friends make an incredible discovery, leading to them developing uncanny superpowers beyond their understanding.
