Terminator: Dark Fate

Paramount Pictures has released an extended Red Band TV spot for those of us who want to check out ‘Terminator: Dark Fate.’ Honestly, the logline stating that “Her name is Sarah Connor, and she hunts terminators” is a massive understatement for how awesome Linda Hamilton is looking for her return to the franchise. Especially in the first Red Band trailer that really puts the violence and swearing framed in a way that makes this fully feel like a spiritual successor to ‘Terminator 2: Judgement Day.’

So, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator in the film now has a name, and it’s Carl. I almost chuckled at this but absolutely laughed with Sarah Connor’s response.

What did you think of the Red Band spot for ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’? Do you believe that we’re finally getting a “Terminator” film that can revive the franchise? Was the “Carl” line above as funny as I thought it was? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

More than two decades have passed since Sarah Connor prevented Judgment Day, changed the future, and re-wrote the fate of the human race. Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes) is living a simple life in Mexico City with her brother (Diego Boneta) and father when a highly advanced and deadly new Terminator – a Rev-9 (Gabriel Luna) – travels back through time to hunt and kill her. Dani’s survival depends on her joining forces with two warriors: Grace (Mackenzie Davis), an enhanced super-soldier from the future, and a battle-hardened Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton). As the Rev-9 ruthlessly destroys everything and everyone in its path on the hunt for Dani, the three are led to a T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) from Sarah’s past that may be their last best hope.

‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ will show us what happens the day after judgment day on November 1st, 2019!
