We’ve all heard that there was a teaser for ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker‘ at this year’s D23 and thankfully, the folks over at Lucasfilm were kind enough to release it online this morning! Just like the first trailer for the film gave us a fantastic scene at the end which teased the return of Emperor Palpatine – this new footage is going to provide you with something unexpected that you just won’t be able to get over.

The footage starts with a rehash of The Skywalker Saga so far. It touched upon many of the key points from the series. After we see main scenes through ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi‘ it starts to tease us quite a new things from space dogfights to a red eye’d C-3PO to Daisy Ridley‘s Rey and Kylo Ren at odds with one another.

All of this ends up with one incredible reveal that no one is going to expect and could change everything for the last chapter in this “Star Wars” story.

Can you believe it, folks? If that last show proves to be accurate, at some point in the upcoming movie, we’ll learn that Rey is evil! Likely, this will end up either being a Force Vision, a bad dream, Palpatine controlling her body, or a clone. However, with the Force involved anything is possible!

It looks like director J.J. Abrams wasn’t able to just keep some essential secrets from the cast, but some outstanding reveals from the audience as well!
