In addition to the multiple characters from The CW’s shows, ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ will feature a few dimensions worth of guest stars.

It has just been announced that Kevin Conroy, who is THE definitive Batman voice actor will appear in the flesh as “Bruce Wayne from the future.”  Brandon Routh, who stars as The Atom/Ray Palmer on ‘Legends’ will also appear as the ‘Kingdom Come’ Superman, a nod to his portrayal of Superman in the theatrical movie ‘Superman Returns’.  Burt Ward, who played Robin in the 1960s ‘Batman’ series, will appear in a mystery role, but is most likely some version of Dick Grayson.

Cress WilliamsBlack Lightning has also been confirmed to appear in this winter’s ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ crossover.  This is major because ‘Black Lightning’ has previously had no connection to the rest of the DC shows on The CW.  While this crossover may not bring Freeland and its residents firmly into the same reality of ‘Arrow’ etc. at least there will now be a connection, as is the case with ‘Supergirl’, which takes place in a separate dimension, but one that can be accessed by the others.

Williams made the announcement himself via Instagram:

Reportedly, Black Lightning only makes a small appearance, and his show won’t be part of the event.  ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ is slated to span five episodes– three in December, two in January.  TV Line has released the official schedule:

The three in December are:

  • Supergirl: Sunday, Dec. 8 at 8/7c (special time)
  • Batwoman: Monday, Dec. 9 at 8 pm (special day)
  • The Flash: Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 8 pm

In January 2020:

  • Arrow: Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 8 pm (special time)
  • DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 9 pm (special episode)

The ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ episode is a “special episode” and is not the season premiere.  It’s unclear if the episode of ‘Arrow’ will be that show’s finale.

LaMonica Garrett who began appearing in last season’s shows as The Monitor, will also appear as his own evil duplicate The Anti-Monitor.  Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, and Jon Cryer reprise their roles as Superman/Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Lex Luthor respectively.  Meaghan Rath joins the cast of ‘Supergirl’ as a female version of Brainiac-5.

There have been RUMORS that ‘Crisis’ will also magic lasso a few other guest stars including Lynda Carter reprising her role of Wonder Woman, and Tom Welling as the Clark Kent of ‘Smallville’.  But take that will a grain of salt!

Are you prepared for all of these characters to share the screen starting in December?
