A Low-Quality Bootleg Of Avengers: Endgame Has Already Surfaced Online

This is why we can’t have nice things.  ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is just hitting theaters and promises to have a massive opening weekend, but should someone not want to gather in a crowded theater with a hundred of their closest fellow Marvel maniacs, a pirated copy of ‘Endgame’ has already surfaced online.  The film opened on Wednesday in China and it appears that someone recorded a low-quality bootleg which is now making the rounds on pirating networks.  The file is 1.2-gigabytes, but as TorrentFreak reports:

“The image flickers constantly throughout.  It’s semi-rotated and is littered throughout with watermarks for a gambling site that spin around the screen.”

Apparently, another spoiler-rich video surfaced last week, featuring Arabic subtitles.

Directors Joe and Anthony Russo penned a lengthy letter to fans begging them not to spoil ‘Endgame’ for other fans, using the hashtag #DontSpoilTheEndgame.  Unfortunately, that didn’t stop some members of the press who got to see the picture early from going onto social media and spoiling certain elements for those that haven’t seen it yet.

‘Endgame’ had a record-breaking $100 million opening in China.  It is expected to make north of $250 million in the US in its first three days.  It has already generated $120 million from pre-sales.  ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ generated over $2 billion during its theatrical run.

After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe.

‘Avengers: Endgame’ directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, starring Josh Brolin, Linda Cardellini, Don Cheadle, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Jon Favreau, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Brie Larson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo, Tessa Thompson, and Benedict Wong, with the voice of Bradley Cooper, opens today!
