After the events of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Endgame’, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) probably needs a vacation, but that sort of thing never works out well for Spider-Man.  In ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’, Peter heads to Europe with his classmates, but it seems that evil manages to track him down there.

Two new images have been released by Marvel/Sony.  In the first, we get another look at Holland in his new red and black costume, along with Zendaya‘s Michelle “M.J.” Jones.  In the other, we get a tiny hint of Peter’s new all-black stealth suit as he meets with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders).  There have been teases that ‘Far From Home’ doesn’t necessarily take place after ‘Endgame’, meaning that we’re not guaranteed that these characters will return from the great beyond.  Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

In the meantime, check out these new pics:

‘Far From Home’ introduces Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio/Quentin Beck, one of Spider-Man’s most beguiling enemies in the comics.  But so far, in the trailers, it looks as though this version of Mysterio is an aspiring hero, as he is shown taking on baddies like Hydro-Man and the Molten Man.

Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation.  However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!

In addition to Holland, Gyllenhaal, Jackson, Smulders, and Zendaya, the cast of ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ includes Numan Acar, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Laura Harrier, Remy Hii, Michael Keaton, Michael Mando, Tony Revolori, Angourie Rice, J.B. Smoove, Martin Starr, and Marisa Tomei.  Jon Watts directed.

‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ swings into theaters on July 5th, 2019.
