You are about to enter another dimension… with Jordan Peele as your guide. With the reboot of ‘The Twilight Zone’ right around the corner, CBS All-Access is pulling out all the stops and has been crazily promoting the show with images, posters, and trailers of the first two episodes. Now they have released an extended trailer for the entire series which briefly gives glimpses of what to expect for the whole season!

There’s a lot to take in with this trailer and you’ll probably be compelled to watch it more than once. The first time to catch all the guest stars featured and then to figure out what the episodes could be about.

It’s already known that the first episode will be a remake of the classic William Shatner episode “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet.” Starring Adam Scott and titled “Nightmare at 30,000 Feet,” there will be a twist in this episode which may not involve a gremlin on the plane’s wing that will be freaking out Scott’s character.
The second episode, ‘The Comedian,” seems to be a riff off the classic Faustian trope where Kumail Nanjiani’s character makes a deal with Tracy Morgan’s character. Be careful what you wish for!
Then there’s “Wunderkind” which stars John Cho, Jacob Tremblay, and Allison Tolman. Maybe it’s just me, but the snippets of that episode give off a vibe that reminds me of the Billy Mumy episode “It’s a Good Life.” Just think good thoughts or Anthony may wish you to the cornfield!
The star power for the series is impressive with Zazie Beetz, John Cho, Betty Gabriel, Ginnifer Goodwin, Taissa Farmiga, Greg Kinnear, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani, Luke Kirby, Seth Rogen, Ike Barinholtz, Adam Scott, Jacob Tremblay, Rhea Seehorn, Tracy Morgan, Alison Tolman, Jessica Williams, DeWanda Wise and Steven Yeun all making an appearance.
So far, the only drawback about ‘The Twilight Zone’ revival is that it is only available on CBS All-Access, so you may have to decide if your excitement for the series is compelling enough to pay for another streaming service if you are not already signed up with them. Frankly, from the looks of this trailer, it will be worth the extra monthly expense!
