Netflix Chambers

Netflix has cast both Uma Thurman (‘Kill Bill Vol. 1′,’Imposters’) and Tony Goldwyn (‘Scandal’,’The Belko Experiment‘) in their new supernatural drama horror series ‘Chambers.’ Penned by Leah Rachel, the series creator explains the show as “taking place in a mystic, New Age pocket of Arizona, Chambers is a psychological horror story that explores the different ways we metabolize trauma, But what starts out as a grounded human story eventually pivots into something far more strange and f’ed up than you were expecting.”

Joining Thurman and Goldwyn in front of the camera will be Sivan Alyra Rose, Lilliya Reid, Nicholas Galitzine, Kyanna Simone Simpson, Lilli Kay, Sarah Mezzanotte, Marcus LaVoi, and the show also introduces newcomer Griffin Powell-Arcand.

Netflix is describing the series as following:

“[A] young heart attack survivor [who] becomes consumed by the mystery surrounding the heart that saved her life. However, the closer she gets to uncovering the truth about her donor’s sudden death, the more she starts taking on the characteristics of the deceased — some of which are troublingly sinister.”

I’m really wondering at the direction this will go as it sounds like we’ll start off normally and slowly see a world that appears to spiral into madness. It isn’t clear here if it will be a character having a breakdown or if something supernatural is actually taking place from the early descriptions. I’m eager for a trailer to be released to give a better idea as to what to expect.
