CW Finally Releases Full Elseworlds Crossover Trailer!

The wait is almost over for this year’s massive CW crossover event! ‘Elseworlds’ premieres this Sunday, December 9th with ‘Supergirl,’ followed by ‘Arrow‘ on December 10th, and lastly, ‘The Flash‘ will wrap up the event on December 11th with the final episode of the crossover event, which also happens to be the 100th episode of the series. To get fans ready and excited for ‘Elseworlds’ to begin this weekend, the CW has finally released a full trailer for the event (which you can watch below), which shows off just how crazy this is all going to be this year.

The trailer reveals a lot of the life-swap that Barry and Oliver are going through, with both seemingly trying to convince their friends and family that they are not who they think they are, as well as some new moments where an emotional Oliver is talking to Barry about how his team abandoned him when he needed them, though whether he talking about Team Flash or Team Arrow it is not known. We also see our first shots of Oliver using Barry’s speed, Barry fighting in the Green Arrow costume, the pair of them confronting John Deegan, and a very cool shot of the teams in Gotham City finding the Bat-signal and interacting with Batwoman, who we know will be a major feature in the event.

Speaking of Batwoman, she is seen a lot in the trailer, which is sure to get all the fans even more hyped up for her premiere during these episodes. According to Ruby Rose, who will be portraying Kate Kane/ Batwoman in the ‘Arrowverse’:

“I get to be Batwoman. I feel like the reason I kept getting so emotional was because growing up watching TV I never saw someone on TV that I could identify with, let alone a superhero. I’ve always had this saying, well not me, Oscar Wilde, which is ‘be yourself because everyone else is taken’ and so I always lived by that motto and the second motto when I came into the industry was ‘be the person that you needed when you were younger’ and I feel like one motto sort of led me to the other and I just kept crying about it.”
