Bryce Dallas Howard Taika Waititi Star Wars: The Mandalorian

We’ve been learning a lot about the upcoming ‘Star Wars: The Mandalorian‘ television series and now some minor casting news may have been revealed. While we know that both Bryce Dallas Howard and Taika Waititi are among the directors who are tackling the first season, it looks as if they’ll also be starring in the series! It is said that they’re only going to have minor roles, but anyone who has a chance to act in a galaxy far far away has to be thrilled about the opportunity!

At this time it isn’t clear as to who Howard will be playing, but there is a rumor about Waititi. It appears that the director of ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ will be featured as a droid of some sort. There is no indication that we’ll see either as a recurring character but with how early in development this is that could still change.

Dallas and Waititi are slated to direct episodes of the series along with Rick Famiuywa, Deborah Chow, and “Star Wars” animated guru Dave Filoni. Casting has yet to be officially announced but with the first image from the show having been released it is only a matter of time before we find out who will star in it.

Are you excited for ‘Star Wars: The Mandalorian’? If they are open to it, do you feel that all of the directors should get at least a quick shot in front of the camera and not just be behind it? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
