Lesley Ann Warren, who many might best remember for playing Miss Scarlet in the ’80s comedy classic ‘Clue’ is joining a whodunnit of a different nature, Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’.  Considering that Season Three arrives on October 19, presumably, she was cast a while ago and it has just now been announced.  It’s possible she may be present at the ‘Daredevil’ panel at New York Comic Con this weekend.

Warren’s role is named Mrs. Falb.  (No first name revealed yet.)  This character is described as “a woman of high morals and steely resolve. A true survivor, Mrs. Falb is uncompromising in her beliefs, even if it means making powerful enemies.”  On the surface, she sounds like an altruistic figure, but so did Alfre Woodard‘s Mariah Dillard, before ‘Luke Cage’ fully unfolded.  This short character description was all the information released, so it’s unknown how large a role she will play or how many episodes in which she will appear.

Warren’s career stretches all the way back to the early ’60s.  She shot to fame playing the lead role in a live-action TV movie version of ‘Cinderella’ before going on to roles on ‘Dr. Kildare’, ‘Gunsmoke’ and ‘The Mod Squad’.  In the ’70s, she starred on ‘Mission: Impossible’ and appeared on another comic book-related project, a televised performance of the stage musical ‘It’s A Bird… It’s A Plane… It’s Superman’.  She played Lois Lane and she later auditioned to play the same role in Richard Donner’s ‘Superman: The Movie’.  This millennium, she has starred on ‘Will & Grace’, ‘Desperate Housewives’, and the upcoming Lifetime series ‘American Princess’.

The ‘Daredevil’ NYCC panel will be held at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden on Saturday (October 6) from 1:30pm-2:45pm.  Confirmed to appear are cast members Charlie Cox, Elden Henson, Deborah Ann Woll, Vincent D’Onofrio, Joanne Whalley, Wilson Bethel, and Jay Ali, plus series showrunner, Erik Oleson and Executive Producer and Marvel’s Head of Television, Jeph Loeb.

‘Daredevil’ season three arrives on Netflix on October 19.
