With the ‘Aquaman‘ trailer on everyone’s mind, the halls of San Diego Comic-Con 2018 are helping fans by also giving a close up look at what Mera and Black Manta will look like in the movie!
From a sea dragon to the classic comic look, we’ve been getting a slew of teasers from the film and this might be the icing on the cake for some. While we’ll need to see Arthur Curry “Unite The Seven” in his movie, things won’t be easy for him when Black Manta is involved.
First up we can see the costume of Amber Heard’s Mera which looks entirely different from what she wore in ‘Justice League.’ There is less armor here as most of it has been swapped out for a tunic and trousers made out of scale-mail. It almost feels like they took a page out of the armor in ‘Wonder Woman’ when fashioning this one:
Now, the real winning preview here is this look at Black Manta. His armor is posed in action above a display for toys, and it is probably a safe bet that an image of his action figure will be surfacing soon. Here, he has the classic glowing red eyes, and this looks how you would picture the live-action version of him from both the comics and cartoons.
This sneak peek at the costume should put to rest any worry about the costume’s look for fans of the character.
