Dawwwwwww! We finally get a look at Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina Spellman and an unrecognizable Ross Lynch as her boyfriend Harvey Kinkle from Netflix’s ‘The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’. Lynch is known for his platinum blond hair, but he’s pulling a “Jughead” and has gone for black hair in this series, a dark, horror-themed take on the classic Archie Comics sorceress. The twist, in this case, is that Sabrina is just learning of her mystical heritage, but Harvey– unbeknownst to him– comes from a long line of witch hunters. And you thought you and your significant other had issues.
The show’s creator, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who is also the chief creative director of Archie Comics and showrunner of ‘Riverdale’, tweeted this image of the happy (for now) couple. Check it out below:
Well, it’s out there. A 1st look at Harvey and Sabrina from the “Chilling Adventures of #Sabrina.” ADORBS, right? pic.twitter.com/9n8cznpv2c

You can also find additional pics at Just Jared. That includes pics that prove this new black haired-love interest is actually Ross Lynch. (Seriously, I had to click through to find proof.)
Netflix ordered two ten-episode seasons (so twenty total) of ‘The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ after The CW, home of teen hit ‘Riverdale’, passed in favor of a reboot of ‘Charmed’, which is not guaranteed. The CW already passed on one treatment of the new ‘Charmed’ set in the 1970s last year. But they are entertaining a new, modern-set retelling.
Based on the Archie Comics graphic novel The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the
Untitled Sabrina Project reimagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage
Witch (Shipka) as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and,
of course, witchcraft. Tonally in the vein of ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ and ‘The Exorcist’, this
adaptation finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature — half-witch, half-mortal —
while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world
humans inhabit.
Netflix has not announced a release date for ‘Sabrina’ but it is likely to premiere this fall in time for Halloween.
