Don’t cut the cord yet, as a new ‘Deadpool 2’ trailer has come our way! In true Deadpool form, the trailer dropped out of nowhere with no warning and provided some great Hump Day humor. Better yet, we finally get to see Josh Brolin in full glory and in full action as Cable!
The trailer starts off a bit uncharacteristically with a voiceover by Brolin introducing Cable’s backstory, but this is a Deadpool movie not a Cable one so, of course, the Merc with the Mouth comes in and does what he does best: Breaks the 4th wall and provides the most delightful snarkilicious narrative using action figures of Daredevil and Cable. Oh, and if that wasn’t enough, there’s glorious new ass-kicking footage of the film that seems to indicate that David Leitch has tapped into the soul of what makes ‘Deadpool’ such a great film after taking over helming duties from Tim Miller.
The marketing campaign for ‘Deadpool 2’ has been so spot on that we can’t help but be just as excited for these promotions as well as the movie!
