I know it will be some time before we actually get to see ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ finally come out to theaters (since it is not due to come out until after the ‘Infinity Wars’), but I am very excited about this one as I really enjoy both the Wasp character (since she was a founding Avenger in the comics) and Evangeline Lily (ever since ‘Lost‘). Therefore I was pretty excited when we got to see her fully suited up recently in shots from set in the new Wasp costume, which you can check out to the right, and am currently very interested in all information that is coming out about the film, which is currently shooting. Luckily for us all this week, we have some unofficial stunt footage from the movie coming to us from the Nob Hill area of San Francisco where they are continuing production this month. The stunt footage which may hint at some story elements for the film.
In the footage, the practical stunt is that of a car being flipped over and knocked down the street into another pair of cars. What is interesting is that it appears to be knocked over for no reason at all, meaning most likely the thing knocking it over will be a CGI element. And since this is ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp,’ and we saw that Scott Lang was perfecting his Giant Man abilities in ‘Captain America: Civil War,’ this could hint that at some point in the film he goes GIANT, and kicks over this car, leading to the stunt we see here. Of course, this is all conjecture, but it could make for a very fun sequence having Giant Man stomping around San Francisco.
Check out the new leaked footage for yourself below, and share your thoughts and theories on how it might fit into the movie in the comments section!
