When ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2’ comes to Home Video next month (August 8th on digital platforms, August 22nd on Blu-Ray and DVD) it will come with a multitude of bonus features, including all of the standards like outtakes, deleted scenes, bloopers, and a Director’s Commentary. But what has director James Gunn really excited is one Bonus Feature in particular, which was teased in the end credits of the film.
In a comment posted on Facebook alongside a poster for the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ track ‘Guardians Inferno,’ Gunn announced a music video for the song which will be included in the Bonus Features, which he is clearly very excited about:
“I’ve been dying to announce this, because it may be the greatest thing I’ve ever worked on but there’s video for ‘Guardians Inferno’ — the song I wrote with Tyler Bates coming soon — you can see it when Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits home video.”
Based on the poster (which you can check out above), the music video is going to feature all of the main cast (including either Vin Diesel Bradley Cooper dressed up as a silver robot) and David Hassellhoff dancing to the eclectic tune in full disco costumes, which will be an oddly incredible sight in an of itself. And of course, any kind of music video starring Hasselhoff is always worth a watch, as the man is just a spectacle no matter what he is doing nowadays. And with James Gunn’s level of excitement, this is probably going to be something immensely entertaining, or just really, really weird. Either way, it is almost worth the price of the Blu-Ray just to see what they have cooked up.
